Rain Delay - 04/16/2024
April showers are officially among us! Due to the rain, we will not be onsite today. The forecast also shows rain for Wednesday, so the plan is to return on Thursday to continue the asphalt roof replacements.
Day one was a success getting started on the first few buildings and loading all the materials on each section. Thank you all for your patience and flexibility with moving vehicles to allow for the trucks to load the roofs. We appreciate you!
Project Introduction - 4/9/2024
Dear Residents,
We are excited to announce that we are making improvements to your community! Capital Construction will be onsite for the next couple of months completing exterior improvements on each building. The project will consist of 3 phases: roofing, siding, and metals/gutters.
The asphalt (shingled) roof replacements will begin on Monday, April 15th. Materials will be delivered and staged in the visitor spaces on the north side of the property. Please remove your vehicles from this by 7:00am on Monday, April 15th. Any vehicle not removed by 7:00am will be towed to allow room for materials.
Please see the map below for parking information and the order for the roof replacement. Building 1 will start on Monday, April 15th, and we will work in ascending order to building 5. We anticipate this portion to take approximately 10 days in total, weather permitting. Please check back here for real time project updates!
The crews will tarp and complete regular walks to sweep for nails and clean up, but we do ask that you take extra caution when entering and exiting your home as nails and debris will fall during removal. As with most construction projects, you will experience different levels of noise throughout the roof replacement. If you work from home, you may want to reschedule any work calls as it will be loud at different times throughout the replacement.
