A former salesman for WorldCom-MCI, John Hope was left jobless after the $11 million accounting scandal from Bernie Ebber. Despite not being the most technology savvy, he was known for being the best at getting a foot in any door.

Having roofing experience in Texas, Arizona, and Florida, he met Capital CEO Andy Oakes during his third storm with Hollingsworth Roofing. Scoring your first job is not easy, and John knew this. At this point, Andy was a rookie in the business, and John gave him his first project to help him get going and build a fruitful relationship. Years later in 2022, Andy returned the favor and circled back to offer John a job at Capital. The rest is history!
