We love this transformation for the details.
The original look of the home was maintained, but the details were modernized and the structure was reinforced.
The home was damaged by hail and the older decking (structure below the roofing system) was not stable. The team installed new decking, a new roofing system from GAF (Timberline HDZ shingles in the color Pewter Gray), and a new rubber roof on the flat portions.
As for the siding, the homeowners wanted to keep the original blue color, but wanted a more durable material. They decided to replace the vinyl siding with LP SmartSide, a wood composite. They chose Summit Blue with white trim. To modernize the look of the home, the shingles and ornamental trim above the windows was removed.
Lastly, the gutters were replaced. The homeowner chose white gutters to match the white trim.
