These homeowners wanted to restore their home from storm damage and upgrade to more durable and protective materials.
The crew removed damaged shingles and replaced them with Class 4 impact resistant shingles from GAF.
Class 4 is the highest level of impact resistance and indicates that under lab testing conditions, new shingles can withstand the impact from a 2-inch ball dropped from 20 feel without splitting or tearing. These offer a longer lifespan, lower insurance rates, and improved home values compared to regular asphalt shingles.
The specific shingles installed are GAF Armorshield II in the color Weathered Wood.
Next, existing vinyls siding was replaced with hardwood siding. LP SmartSide was engineered for sustainability and durability. It is a great choice for all climates, hot or cold, and is highly impact resistant. The homeowners chose the color Terra Brown.
To match the siding, custom bent gutters and downspouts in the color Pebblestone Clay from ABC were installed.
The garage was replaced custom garage thermal door with glass windows and woodgrain wrap in the color Walnut. And, the outdoor light fixtures were replaced with more modern options.
